Baked Strawberry Donuts Chantico Style

Updated: May 6

Celebrate National Donut Day with these refreshing and tasty strawberry donuts (Chantico style)! We made these yummy treats with our one of a kind Chantico Blue Agave Powder instead of using granulated sugar, and boy does it taste better! The agave blends perfectly with the strawberries for baked deliciousness. You won't have to wait long as the prep and cook time is only 30 minutes for a dozen donuts!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (can swap for gluten free flour)

1 large egg

1/2 cup buttermilk

1/3 cup Chantico Blue Agave Powder

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped strawberries

Chantico Wild Agave, for drizzle on top

2 diced strawberries, for topping

Instructions:

Before mixing, preheat oven to 400℉ and lightly coat your donut pan with nonstick spray.

In one bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set to the side.

In a larger bowl, beat the egg and Chantico Blue Agave Powder together. Add oil, buttermilk and vanilla until all are combined.

Mix the dry ingredients into the larger bowl. Now fold in chopped strawberries.

Use a spoon to fill each donut space on the pan to 3/4 full.

Bake donuts for about 8-10 minutes. Check the bake by sticking a toothpick in the donut, and if it comes out clean, the donuts are done.

Let donuts cool for about 10 minutes. Flip the pan over a wire rack and rearrange donuts.

Drizzle donuts with Chantico Wild Agave and diced strawberries.

Enjoy!
